Description
Description
LYNN micro-armored fiber optic assemblies are engineered for demanding FTTx and broadband deployments where additional cable protection and long-term reliability are critical. Designed specifically for hazardous and high-risk installation environments, these rugged simplex assemblies provide enhanced durability while maintaining the flexibility and optical performance required for modern fiber access networks. The compact micro-armored construction helps protect critical network infrastructure from environmental damage and accidental cable impacts during installation and operation.
Constructed with integrated steel armor and premium Corning® SMF-28 Ultra bend insensitive fiber, LYNN micro-armored assemblies deliver exceptional mechanical protection and reliable optical performance in challenging indoor and outdoor applications. A thick Kevlar reinforcement layer surrounds the optical fiber to provide additional tensile strength and cable durability, while the steel armor helps protect against external hazards including rodent damage. Precision-polished SC/APC connectivity ensures low insertion loss and excellent return loss performance for high-speed optical networks and critical broadband infrastructure.
LYNN micro-armored simplex assemblies are built with 9/125 µm single mode fiber, SC/APC connectivity, and a durable 3 mm LSZH jacket suitable for demanding FTTx environments. Designed to meet stringent industry performance and compliance standards, these assemblies provide insertion loss performance of ≤0.25 dB and return loss of ≥60 dB while operating in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C. Manufactured in ISO-9001 and TUV certified facilities, LYNN micro-armored fiber assemblies are compliant with major telecommunications and broadband standards including Verizon TPR 9424 Issue 2, Telcordia GR-20-CORE, EIA/TIA 568-A/GR-409-CORE, ICEA-S-104-696, and RoHS requirements.
