Lynn Networks is proud to support our customers and partners in delivering broadband projects funded through the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program.
On February 23, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a limited, general applicability nonavailability waiver of the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) preference requirements for the BEAD Program, covering certain construction materials and manufactured products. To ensure compliance, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has established a self-certification and compliance framework for manufacturers.
As part of this process, manufacturers must certify—under the Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act (31 U.S.C. § 3801 et seq.), the False Claims Amendments Act of 1986, and the False Statements Accountability Act of 1996 (18 U.S.C. §§ 287 and 1001, respectively)—that designated products meet BABAA requirements.
Lynn Networks has completed BABAA self-certification across a wide range of LYNN brand products, giving broadband providers confidence when deploying BEAD-funded networks.
