TheNID with Reel is a compact outdoor fiber optic network interface device designed to withstand harsh Outside Plant conditions. Built with high-impact thermoplastic material, it features a variable cable entry clamp that securely holds both round and flat drop cables, accepts up to 1-inch conduit, and includes a built-in electrical copper ground lug. The device is preloaded with a rotating slack storage reel storing 50, 100, or 150 ft of micro armored pushable fiber with bullet end, eliminating the need for field splicing and reducing deployment times and installation costs. The cover closes securely with a 3/8” hex bolt with provision for a security seal.
